Being threatened with jail time for cursing

So we booked a limo for after our wedding 7 months ago but two weeks before the big day our plans changed and canceled the limo. I fully expected to lose the $228 deposit, however I was charged the additional $228 as if we had gone through with the rental. On top of that I was charged $20 for gas (the car never left their lot) and $90.20 for gratuity (for a ride I never took) for a total of $338.20.

When I called to complain and ask for my money back, I lost my cool and dropped the f-bomb and hung up on him. I've since reported the fraudulent charge to my credit card but the owner of the company continues to email me and has now threatened me with jail time and fines for the f-word (some nonsense VA law saying obscene language is a misdemeanor if used in a threatening way).

I've asked him to stop emailing several times but he continues even after I blocked him (it doesn't block really, it just moves to spam automatically)

Should I be worried?
