What is Bitcoin BTC? Is BTC still Bitcoin: a Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System?
No, BTC is no longer a Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System. BTC is now a settlement token for the disastrous Lightning Network project. Lightning Network is envisioned to eventually become the payment layer for BTC. Lightning Network does not implement a "Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System".
So who's the scammer here? Me, for saying that BCH is Bitcoin: a Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System or the people out there selling "Bitcoin" when really they're selling what amounts to an ICO token for Lightning Network that's "Bitcoin" In Name Only?
How many people who are buying BTC for the first time today even know what "Lightning Network" even is?
I say that the poor bastards piling into Bitcoin BTC completely unaware that it's broken (in fact, sabotaged) beyond repair are the real victims here and the people shilling Lightning Network settlement tokens as "Bitcoin" are the real scammers.
Real Bitcoin is Cash.
If your Bitcoin isn't Cash then it isn't real Bitcoin.
