FL- dead estranged father's new family wants me to sign away rights to trailer

I received a message on facebook the other day asking if I'm me (I go by a different name than my birth name). When I responded the woman messaged back.

"Ok so T was my father in law. He passed away last March 18. He was married to my mother in law he did not have a will my mother in law and T have a double wide trailer in [Florida] and according to Florida law she cannot change the deed into her name unless all of his children sign off in which all the boys have and we have been looking for you to ask you the same. I know you did not have a relationship with T as far as we know. Do you think if we send you the papers from the lawyer you would be willing to do this for mom. "

I have some pretty bad history with my father and I want this to be over as quickly as possible so I don't have to deal with it but I talked to my mom about it and she's saying that this seems sketchy. Is she right or does this check out? They're definitely his family, I checked his obit, but are they keeping something else from me? They're supposed to be mailing the papers but I'm not going to sign anything I don't understand.
