Just before the hash war, the BSV people would say things like "It is better to be feared than to be loved". So it's no surprise that the BSV side would end up threatening people with lawsuits, and the crypto community would use free speech & free markets to boycott the hated BSV.

Craig & Calvin tried to attack people with government tyranny (lawsuits).

The crypto community responded in a very libertarian way, with free speech (calls for boycott) and free markets (private sector exchanges choosing to delist BSV).
