Ex boyfriends fiancé is in training to become a police officer. A year ago, she sent me harassing text messages threatening to physically hurt me. Is there legal action I should take?

Last year I broke up with my verbally abusive boyfriend and he got engaged to a girl my age (19) soon after. Over the summer, his fiancé first contacted me over Facebook asking me questions about items I had given my ex while we were still dating. I told her I didn’t want anything back and didn’t want anything to do with that. She responded by saying he was too good for me and I blocked her. 20 minutes later, I get a notification that someone tried to add me as a friend on Snapchat. Based on the username, it’s very obvious that it is the same girl who messaged me on Facebook, so I block her Snapchat username. A few minutes later, I get a text message from an unknown number. I have no clue how she got my number, but the text was basically just sent to harass me and threaten to beat me up. Anyway, I recently learned that she is in a program to become a police officer in my home city. The whole idea of her being a police officer greatly concerns me, as I wholeheartedly believe that if she pulled me over I would be in danger. I recently found a screenshot of one of the many messages she sent me (I can provide a picture of the text message for further context if necessary). I was wondering if I should contact the police department she is working at with this information and if doing so would be taking a legal action against this girl. I’m unsure of what to do, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: location is Missouri, U.S
