My 130 year old revolver is locked in a safe. I've lost the key. I don't have a CCW permit. Can I lawfully transport the safe to a locksmith?

I live in Virginia. § 18.2-308 of the Virginia code allows for carrying concealed weapons without a permit to and from "places of purchase and repair" among other circumstances; does that apply here?

In Virginia, guns older than 1898 are "antique." Does the gun's status as an antique mean the CCW provisions don't apply at all?
