I’m a (21m) E-3 currently stationed in California (Orange County if that matters).My half sister lives in New Mexico with my mom and does not even attend school anymore.My 2 half brothers all did the same thing 1 of them is a meth head at 19 the other has so many mental health issues that I wouldn’t have time to list them.Anyhow my mom is about to lose the house she is trying to file bankruptcy but needs the rest of the lawyer paid off(which she had asked me after 2 years of no contact and I declined) she is virtually homeless she has effectively fucked up the lives of my half brothers on top of what they do wrong and I worry this will also happen to my sister i can’t keep sending them money for it’s becoming to much and if I could claim her as a dependent I would get BAH(military money for housing and family).I myself am decent off and could get a place in town if needed for her to come down but I don’t know how I should let the courts know that I’m planning to speak to a JAG this week but that’s like a 120mile drive from my base so I have to find time.Any I aight or advice would be greatly welcomed this is one of the first times in my life I know I can’t do It alone.
