Hi reddit, I’m in Texas. so I got pulled over about a week ago and the cop told me I had the wrong license plates and he had to write me a ticket. Apparently the last digit of the plates on the car was 4 when it was supposed to be 3. Anyway now I have this ticket and I’m not sure what to do about it. Could I go to court and get it dismissed since it wasn’t my fault or do I not have legal grounds to do so.
I also got a bill from the toll road agency saying that I’ve been driving around toll roads without a sticker, so someone has my plates and is driving toll roads while I’m getting charged for it. Any ideas?
