Losing 2 years of back pay by quitting a week too early

I used to work for a grocery store chain who's union went on strike relatively recently. I worked there from 2016 all the way up to the strike. I didn't actually picket during the strike and just focused on coursework but didn't cross the line either. Once school was done I went out and got another job, once I got the date of my first day I called and quit only to be informed once I had handed in my key card and cleaned out my locker that I would not be getting reimbursed back pay the company owed me for not having a contract for two and a half years-- my entire duration with the company itself.

In addition to this, the company owes me hundreds in overtime pay. They would routinely schedule close-open shifts and our province mandates you must pay overtime for the shift if there isn't a full 12 hours between shifts. Only two ish months before the strike, when we got a new computerized time clock, did we start getting paid overtime for such shifts.

I will be out hundreds if not thousands of dollars that I am owed in both overtime and back-pay. Is there anything I can do to get this money back?

Edit: I'm in Canada, specifically Saskatchewan if this makes any difference.
